For those who have said “we want a supervisor from our area to represent us”, you need to read this page!

Cindy Gustafson has recused herself a total of 36 times from board votes
All recusals are related to North Lake Tahoe items brought before the board of supervisors. (see spreadsheet below)
Recusals are most often used to avoid a conflict of interest.
No other supervisor has more than 4 recusals during the same time period of 5/1/2019 – 8/31/24 and that is for any county decisions.
With most supervisors having less than 4 recusals in a similar length of time, Cindy appears unable to represent her constituents by voting on local issues as other districts enjoy.
If you want someone without conflicts of interest the decision is clear

The residents of North Tahoe deserve better and need to elect a supervisor who will make decisions that are in the community’s best interest.
